A local Hip Hop night called Battlestations is a hub where Dj's, Mc's, Writers and B-boys come to do their thing.
Earlier this year JAAM went to battle against the HGT collective. JAAM's artist Jay Roerade teamed up with artist Robyn Helen Bromfield to blast a collaborative typographic piece.
This was a new wave of bringing traditional typography into free form graph.
During the summer months of 2010 JAAM collaborated with Jozika of the TAPT collective. Their speciality is designing and hand printing massive great back drops for Bristol club owners hire for their events. Their designs focus on drawing from the 'subconscious mind'. JAAM jumped at the chance to join in the drawing and printing. This resulted in one
"After a raging night out, I decided to pile into a friends house at 1:00am in the morning and draw this. About five of us sketched out bits for it and I painted it up for 12 hrs until the next day"
